A limited number of events each year.
I play all of them myself.
What the night requires
- Music
- Built for the room, not pulled from a playlist.
- The room
- I read the room, not the laptop.
- Sound
- Clear enough to hear. Full enough to feel.
- Light
- Enough to shape the room. Never enough to take it over.
- Flow
- You should never feel the transitions or be thinking of timelines.
- The microphone
- Used when it matters. Put down when it does not.
Background
I came up in clubs, building rooms, programming music, training DJs, and learning what makes people move.
That experience now shows up wherever I play, from weddings and private events to corporate rooms and late nights.
The setting changes. The job does not.
In their words
“Jay killed it with the music, transitions, and lights.”
